Hyrox events are gaining popularity among fitness enthusiasts. They combine running with functional workouts. If you are preparing for your first Hyrox event, it's important to know what to expect and how to train effectively.
Before diving into intense training, familiarise yourself with the event format. Hyrox includes eight functional workouts and eight 1-kilometer runs. This combination tests both endurance and strength.

Prepare your gear in advance, masking sure you have proper footwear that gives you grip whilst pushing sleds and also allows you to perform on the runs, they may be overlooked but it will make a difference.
On the day of the event, arrive early. Familiarise yourself with the venue and warm up properly, the warm up is important get on a stationary bike, rowing machine, SkiErg or go for a run, get the body moving and you're heart rate up. Most importantly, enjoy the experience and give it your best effort.
